Founder Adam Perkins established Agro-Ecology Central West with a commitment to help small to medium sized farming enterprises adapt and incorporate technology and new agricultural practices into their operations.

Adam has had a 30-plus year career in the food and agribusiness sectors. He has worked locally and internationally in executive roles for some of the world’s best known food brands.

As part of a foreign aid programme, Adam lectured at an agricultural college in Malawi - Africa for six months. In his most recent role, Adam worked for an internationally recognised AgTech startup involved in broad-acre biological pest control.

Adam has an honours degree in Science from The University of Sydney and a Graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Law from The University of Melbourne.

He lives in Orange, in the New South Wales Central West.
